WirelesStudios Partners With Canoe.TV To Provide ITN News & Other Exclusive International Content To Canadian Web TV Viewers

TORONTO, Canada — February 11, 2009 – Today for the first time in Canada, viewers of  Canoe.TV will be able to receive international news and other featured content from the UK’s largest private broadcaster, ITN, via Canoe.TV’s new Web TV service.  WirelesStudios, the North American distribution partner of ITN, is pleased to provide Canadians with a fresh perspective on international news, sports, celebrity, business and other areas of interest through its distribution deal with Canoe.TV. Canoe.TV will feature ITN video content on its launch page. ITN’s video programming is formatted and packaged from its broadcast feeds specifically for broadband and mobile use, and is available to Canoe.TV users in Canada free of charge. In the coming weeks, WirelesStudios and Canoe.TV/JAM! Television also plan to launch additional broadband video channels in both English and French featuring long-form and short-form entertainment from WirelesStudios’ library of classic motion pictures, commercials and other material.
